Sahrudayam - The Compassion Program
Hearts that Care
Vision
Developing and fostering an environment of compassion in healthcare and health systems across the world through collaboration
Purpose
Reimagining Care Through Compassion
In a world of rapidly advancing medical technology and data-driven solutions, we believe it’s time to rebalance the scales, to place compassionate care at the heart of health systems.
The Compassion Program is a transformative program dedicated to enhancing human connection across all aspects of care. We aim to empower healthcare professionals, organizations, and systems to prioritize compassion, dignity, and kindness because healing is not just a science but also an art.
Why Compassion Matters in Healthcare
Studies show that compassionate care leads to:
Better health outcomes
Improved healthcare experiences and satisfaction
Improved mental well-being for caregivers and providers
Reduced burnout and moral injury in clinical staff
Improves treatment adherence and reduces burden of cost
Yet, compassion is often sidelined in fast-paced, overstretched environments. Our program seeks to change that.
