Are We Living Superficial Lives?

Today we come forward with truly the authors' genuine questions with little perspectives. We would like your thoughts, to help gain insight into our lives and practices of Welugu!

Do we find ourselves leading superficial lives, shaped by societal norms and expectations? Are we truly being authentic, or do we feel compelled to alter our behavior depending on the context?

Consider this: If our natural disposition is playful or goofy (nice goofy), why must we suppress this aspect of ourselves in a professional setting? Is it merely to accommodate others' potential discomfort or frustration?

Moreover, by constantly adjusting our behavior to fit different environments, do we risk sacrificing our authenticity, leading us to live surface-level lives devoid of genuine connections?

Reflecting on this, one might wonder: How can we foster meaningful relationships if we're unable to authentically express ourselves? After all, authentic connections are the cornerstone of a fulfilling existence.

While it's understandable to maintain professionalism in the workplace, the need to navigate contrasting behaviors in personal and professional settings raises questions about societal expectations and the true essence of authenticity.

Ultimately, if we're unable to cultivate genuine relationships and connections, what purpose does life serve? Perhaps it's time to reconsider the boundaries between our personal and professional selves and strive for a more integrated, authentic existence.

What are your reflections?

Seeking your thoughts genuinely,

With love and gratitude!
